Tereza Misiarzová usually focuses on installations and actions of a fleeting character, either very private or aimed at small groups of viewers, which she subsequently mediates via documentation. The subject of her diploma is the outbreak of the so-called Coronavirus pandemic. Her point of departure became the widespread view that the best protection from the disease is locking everyone down. She, therefore, decided to pursue all her favorite activities, otherwise done outside, in the privacy of her home, which is naturally unfit for it. And although the captured scenes have more or less bizarre air, the artist managed to clearly illustrate the situation shared by all those who tried to survive the long imposed situation by trying to simulate “normal life” even under limited conditions.
