Barbora Lepší presents subtle and unstable objects which evoke the impression of mental models of some environment or imaginary architecture. They fuse several various features referring to the visuality of the present-day “post-internet” era: modern materials, such as color Perspex or Dibond, digitally manipulated photographs based on organic fragments of bodies and plants, but also the artist’s drawings and paintings, in which she, among other things, explores how they change when incorporated into a three-dimensional medium. The central principle of her assemblages is layering and penetrating that corresponds with the nature of today’s digital world.
